A common theme across many organizations in a risk adverse western corporate culture is the recent emphasis placed on employee innovation. They do this by supporting intrapreneurs using innovation days and cross-team working. Employees working daily with customers on the front line have the creative sparks or ideas that could really make a difference. I asked Mitzie to share how she made room for the intrapreneurialship of her employees and volunteers over the years and if she felt in any way that this decision took courage?
